Rheal Superfoods is a UK brand of organic superfood powders, mostly not mushrooms: greens, a gut blend, women’s health tonics, collagen, hydration sachets and capsules. Mushrooms appear mainly in three hot drinks and a brain capsule. When we checked rhealsuperfoods.com in October 2026, Shroom Coffee listed 50mg of caffeine per cup and 250mg of lion’s mane.

These are facts from Rheal’s own website, not a review. Evopure isn’t connected with Rheal.

What does Rheal Superfoods sell?

Rheal says it began in 2017, when founders Charlotte and Sean started making their own superfood blends, and it appeared on BBC One’s Dragons’ Den in 2021. It is a certified B Corp. Here is the main range on its UK site, checked 26 October 2026:

Product What it is Key ingredients listed
Gut Feel Powder, 5g a day Baobab, apple, barley grass, Aquamin calcium, 600mg Actazin kiwi, ginger
Clean Greens Powder, 5g a day Baobab, barley grass, wheatgrass, moringa, pineapple, chlorella, spirulina, acerola
Balance Tonic Cycle Powder, 5g a day Baobab, hibiscus, blueberry, KSM-66 ashwagandha, maca, B6, zinc, biotin
Balance Tonic Menopause Powder, 5g a day 600mg KSM-66 ashwagandha, maca, seaweed iodine, B6, B12, D, K2

Hot drinks Shroom Coffee, Magic Matcha, Coco Dream See the next section

Rheal also sells Berry Beauty, plant, marine and bovine collagen, Daily Hydration electrolyte sachets (see electrolytes), wellness shots and Pre + Probiotic capsules. Rheal says its superfood blends, hydration and capsules are vegan; the marine and bovine collagens are not. Most ingredients are certified organic, though Gut Feel no longer is.

Which Rheal products contain mushrooms and caffeine?

Drink Per serving Caffeine (Rheal)
Shroom Coffee 2.5g: Arabica coffee, 250mg lion’s mane, maca 50mg per cup
Magic Matcha 2g: matcha, 500mg lion’s mane, 300mg KSM-66, ginger Natural, from matcha; no figure
Coco Dream 6g: raw cacao, coconut sugar, 500mg reishi extract, cinnamon, KSM-66 None listed

For scale, the NHS estimates 100mg of caffeine in a cup of instant coffee and 75mg in a cup of tea. Cacao naturally contains a little caffeine, so Coco Dream is not caffeine-free just because no figure is listed. EFSA says up to 400mg a day raises no safety concerns for healthy adults; in pregnancy the NHS limit is 200mg. See how long caffeine lasts.

No published trial has tested these drinks. For the research on each ingredient, read our guides to lion’s mane, reishi and matcha, or the UK functional mushrooms guide.

If you’re comparing options: what ours contain

We’re not saying ours are better. If you’re looking at a mushroom hot chocolate or an evening drink, these are the Evopure products people compare:

  • Reishi Mushroom Adaptogenic Complex: a reishi hot chocolate with reishi mushroom extract, organic cacao, maca, coconut milk powder and coconut sugar. It contains a little natural caffeine from the cacao. See reishi cacao.
  • Magnesium Glycinate Sleep Complex: a berry drink powder with magnesium bisglycinate and citrate (148mg magnesium per serving), glycine and L-theanine. Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Flow CBD Oil: broad spectrum CBD with ashwagandha and maca in MCT oil.

The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues. At Evopure we think it is a very cautious figure, and many adults use more. If you go above it, increase slowly, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take any medication.

All three are vegan and made in the UK, for adults (18+) only. We don’t recommend our products during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to use Rheal Superfoods

  • Gut Feel: 1 to 2 teaspoons (5g) a day in water or fresh juice, ideally before meals.
  • Clean Greens: one 5g serving (a heaped teaspoon) a day in cold water, juice or a smoothie.
  • Balance Tonic: 5g a day in water, juice, smoothies or yoghurt, morning or evening.
  • Shroom Coffee: 1 teaspoon (2.5g) in hot water, topped with milk.
  • Magic Matcha: 1 teaspoon (2g) whisked into 50ml of cold or warm (never boiling) water.
  • Coco Dream: 1 tablespoon (6g) in hot water, topped with warm milk.

Rheal doesn’t give a set amount of water for the blends. Its superfoods are not meal replacements.

Rheal vs Spacegoods: label facts

Is Rheal good for IBS, bloating or menopause?

Rheal’s products are food supplements, not treatments for IBS or menopause symptoms. If bloating or bowel changes are new or persistent, see your GP; our IBS guide covers the NHS approach. Balance Tonic Menopause has 600mg of KSM-66 ashwagandha per serving, and the FSA has been reviewing ashwagandha’s safety. Rheal itself advises checking with your GP first if you take thyroid medication, HRT, blood pressure medication, SSRIs or insulin. See ashwagandha side effects and mushrooms for menopause.

On safety, Rheal says its capsules are for adults 18+ only, and advises speaking to a medical professional before using its products in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, or if you take medication.
