Yes, Boots sells CBD balms, creams and gels from CBD Brothers, Pureis, HEMPE and Eusphera. Superdrug’s CBD creams and balm sticks, mostly CBDfx, all come from marketplace sellers rather than Superdrug itself. Tesco sells no CBD muscle balm, cream or gel online, only marketplace CBD face creams. We checked each shop’s website in November 2026.

Eusphera also sells Hemp Cream Derma, a face and body cream with CBD and sweet almond oil. Label details worth knowing:
- CBD Brothers: just coconut oil, beeswax and “complete cannabinoid extract”, so it isn’t vegan. Both sizes work out at 10mg of CBD per ml. Adults only, once a day, not on open wounds, and not if pregnant or breastfeeding. Sent direct from the brand.
- Pureis: the page says its CBD is lab-made rather than taken from the cannabis plant.
- HEMPE: water and alcohol based gels with menthol high on the list, made in Czechia. The page says to test on a small patch of skin first.
- Eusphera: made in Italy. Gel Relief “Contains Camphor and Menthol” and is sold online to buyers aged 16 and over.

Superdrug’s CBD category listed 53 products on 1 November 2026. The 13 for skin or the bath all say “Sold and shipped by a Marketplace seller”, so that seller handles delivery and returns.

The rest are an Earthly Body spray with arnica and comfrey (no CBD amount given), a 200mg CBDfx bath bomb, and Mellow Patch patches with 24mg or 50mg of CBD isolate each. The CBDfx pages give no tub size, so you can’t work out the mg per ml. They say adults 18+ only, not on peeling or irritated skin, and to ask a doctor first if pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical supervision.

Does Tesco sell CBD muscle balm?
No, not online. Searches on tesco.com for CBD balm, cream, gel and muscle products found none. Instead:
- CBD face skincare: London Botanical Laboratories serums and face creams with CBD in the name, from marketplace sellers. On the two pages we opened, the ingredient list doesn’t name cannabidiol, so ask the seller how much CBD is in it.
- Hemp creams and gels: 5Kind Extra Strong Hemp Cream (200ml or 1 litre) and Hemp Active Gel (1 litre), also marketplace. Their hemp is hemp seed oil, listed next to menthol, camphor, arnica and comfrey, and no CBD is listed.
- Non-CBD rubs: Tiger Balm, Deep Heat and Voltarol (a medicine). See CBD balm vs Tiger Balm.
Hemp cream vs CBD cream
They aren’t the same. Hemp seed oil is pressed from the seeds, and the FSA treats it as a long-established food, separate from CBD extracts, which are taken from other parts of the plant or made synthetically. On a cosmetic label, hemp seed oil appears as “Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil” and CBD as “Cannabidiol” or a hemp extract with a stated CBD amount. No cannabidiol and no mg of CBD means a hemp cream. How to compare CBD balms
The number on the front is the CBD in the whole tub, so divide it by the size. Where the pages gave both:

Then check the ingredients:
- Menthol and camphor give the cooling or tingling feel. Keep them away from eyes.
- Arnica, devil’s claw and comfrey are plant extracts: read them as ingredients, not promises.
- Essential oils and fragrance bring allergens such as limonene and linalool. Sensitive skin? Pick a shorter list.
- Nut oils and beeswax: sweet almond oil matters for nut allergies, and beeswax isn’t vegan.

CBD cream for pain: what the label can say
A CBD balm or cream is a cosmetic, not a medicine, so it can’t treat a condition, and any claim made for it must be backed by evidence. The research is early: a 2024 review of CBD in skincare found mostly laboratory and animal studies, only a few clinical studies in people, and a need for better ways of getting CBD through the skin. So think of a CBD balm as something to massage in, and if pain is affecting your daily life, see your GP or ask a pharmacist about licensed options. Before you use any balm: patch test a small area first, keep it off broken or irritated skin and away from eyes, and wash your hands after. We don’t recommend our products during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and our balm is for adults (18+).
