Bristol CBD is an online CBD shop run by PhytoWell Ltd, from Easton in Bristol. It sells broad spectrum and full spectrum oils from 300mg to 4,000mg, vegan gummies with 20mg or 25mg each, capsules and CBD chocolate. When we checked in November 2026, 13 of its 14 entries on the FSA public list were “Validated”.
Below: drops per 10mg, gummies, THC, the company and the FSA list. Evopure isn’t connected with Bristol CBD; facts come from bristolcbd.co.uk and official sources.
Bristol CBD oils: strengths and drops per 10mg
The broad spectrum oils, named Joy, Relief and Sleep, use MCT oil. The Whole Plant and Gold oils are full spectrum in hemp seed oil; Gold is filtered for a milder taste, and there is a lemon Gold. Its own figures for the 10ml dropper bottles on 1 November 2026:
| Oil | Type | CBD per bottle and drop | Drops for 10mg |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whole Plant 3% | Full spectrum | 300mg, about 1.5mg a drop | About 7 |
| Joy 5%, Whole Plant or Gold 5% | Broad or full | 500mg, 2.5mg a drop | 4 |
| Relief 10%, Whole Plant or Gold 10% | Broad or full | 1,000mg, 5mg a drop | 2 |
| Sleep 20%, Whole Plant or Gold 20% | Broad or full | 2,000mg, 10mg a drop | 1 |
Most oils also come as a 20ml spray with double the CBD: 7.5mg a spray at 5%, 15mg at 10% and 30mg at 20%, so one spray of the 10% or 20% is above 10mg. Bristol also sells a cold-pressed “High Terpene” 10% oil (1,000mg), a Gold oil with 10% CBG plus 10% CBD, and two raw pastes at 23% and 30% CBD in a 10g syringe. See CBD oil strengths explained, the strongest CBD oils in the UK and CBG vs CBD.
Our pick
If you like the idea of a plain broad spectrum oil, Broad Spectrum CBD Oil is just broad spectrum CBD and organic MCT oil, in 500mg, 1,000mg or 2,000mg. About 4, 2 or 1 drop gives 10mg. Prefer a fixed amount, like a gummy? Our 10mg capsules need no counting.

Broad spectrum with 0% THC, every batch third-party lab tested, made in the UK. For adults only. We don’t recommend our products during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Free UK delivery over £45, 14-day returns on unopened items.
Bristol CBD gummies, capsules and chocolate
Bristol also sells gummies, capsules, and chocolate made with Radek’s, a Bristol chocolatier:
| Product | CBD each | Pack |
|---|---|---|
| Vegan CBD Gummies, mixed fruit | 20mg a gummy | 30 (600mg) |
| CBD Cherry Gummies | 25mg a gummy | 25 (625mg) |
| Vegan capsules with piperine | 15mg a capsule | 60 (900mg) |
| Capsules with vitamin D3 and turmeric, or ginkgo | 15mg a capsule | 50 (750mg) |
| CBD chocolate bars | 12mg, 35mg or 105mg a bar | One bar |
| CBD drinking chocolate | 10mg to 15mg a cup | 160g tin (100mg) |
Both gummies are made with broad spectrum CBD and described as vegan, with a maximum of 3 a day on Bristol’s pages; the cherry ones list wheat starch. The piperine capsules use a vegan hypromellose shell, while the vitamin and ginkgo capsules use gelatine. It also sells balms, sprays and mushroom tinctures. See CBD oil vs gummies and CBD oil vs capsules.
Broad spectrum, full spectrum and THC
- Joy, Relief, Sleep and the gummies: broad spectrum CBD from hemp grown in Oregon, given as 0% THC, with small amounts of CBG and CBDV.
- Whole Plant, Gold, pastes and chocolate: full spectrum extracts from EU hemp; Bristol says it bottles its oils in Bristol. Full spectrum means other cannabinoids are kept, so traces of THC can be present. The site footer says its products contain less than 0.01% THC.
Bristol’s lab tests page lists certificates for its oils, pastes, capsules and gummies. If you face workplace or sports testing, check the certificate for your batch. See full spectrum vs broad spectrum, CBD and drug tests and how to read CBD lab reports.
Who owns Bristol CBD? Is it a real company?
- A registered UK company. The site says bristolcbd.co.uk is wholly owned by PhytoWell Ltd. Companies House lists PhytoWell Ltd (company number 11770150), incorporated on 16 January 2019 and active, with its registered office at Easton Business Centre, Felix Road, Bristol BS5 0HE.
- Founders named on the site. Its About page says Mark Dunn and Koren Barnwell, both therapists in Bristol, co-founded Bristol CBD in 2018.
- An online shop, not a high street one. The contact page says “we’re an online shop only”.
- No ASA rulings found. We searched the Advertising Standards Authority’s rulings for “Bristol CBD” and “PhytoWell” in November 2026 and found none.
Is Bristol CBD on the FSA list?
Partly. CBD food sold in England and Wales must be linked to an application on the FSA’s public list. We downloaded the full list on 1 November 2026 and found 14 entries for Bristol CBD, all under application RP-427:
- 13 Validated: 8 broad spectrum oils (5%, 10% and 20%, droppers and sprays, plain, peppermint or lemon), 3 capsule products (vitamin D and turmeric, ginkgo, magnesium), the mixed fruit gummies and a CBD coffee.
- 1 Removed: the 20% broad spectrum 4,000mg spray.
Our name search didn’t find the Whole Plant or Gold oils, pastes, cherry gummies, piperine capsules or chocolate. The Gold pages cite a full spectrum application numbered 438; ask Bristol CBD for the list entry of the product you buy. “Validated” means a product can stay on sale while the application is assessed; it isn’t an authorisation. RP427 is one of three applications the FSA put forward in its September 2026 recommendations to ministers, for high-purity CBD at up to 10mg a day for adults. Ministers make the final decision. How much Bristol CBD a day? The 10mg advice
Bristol’s CBD guide suggests your body weight in kilos divided by 2 as a starting amount in milligrams (35mg for a 70kg adult) and calls 70mg “the maximum recommended daily dose”. That was the FSA’s earlier figure. Since October 2023, the FSA has advised healthy adults to have no more than 10mg of CBD a day, as precautionary advice rather than a legal limit.
Each Bristol gummy (20mg or 25mg) and capsule (15mg) is above 10mg; its piperine capsule page says so itself. On the oils, 10mg is 1 to 7 drops. The FSA doesn’t recommend CBD for under-18s, anyone pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive, or people taking medication unless a doctor advises it. Where Evopure fits
Evopure is a separate UK company and isn’t connected with Bristol CBD. We don’t sell gummies or chocolate. Our closest options:
- Broad Spectrum CBD Oil: just CBD and organic MCT oil, 500mg, 1,000mg or 2,000mg in 10ml, about 2.5mg, 5mg or 10mg a drop. See broad spectrum CBD oil explained.
- Broad Spectrum CBD Capsules: 10mg or 25mg in a vegan capsule, with nothing to count or taste. See choosing CBD capsules.
- Flow CBD Oil: broad spectrum CBD with ashwagandha and maca. It isn’t for anyone with a thyroid, liver or autoimmune condition.
All our CBD products are 0% THC and on the FSA public list, linked to validated applications RP438, RP821 and RP47. They’re vegan, made in the UK and tested by ISO 17025 accredited labs, with reports on request from our lab testing page. For adults (18+) only. We don’t recommend our products during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues. At Evopure we think it is a very cautious figure, and many adults use more. If you go above it, increase slowly, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take any medication.
Bristol CBD reviews and discount codes
We haven’t tested Bristol CBD’s products and don’t rate other brands. Bristol links to its Trustpilot page, where buyers can leave reviews; sort by most recent and read the middling scores too. We don’t list discount codes. Posting or commissioning fake reviews is banned in the UK under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. Whichever brand you choose, check the FSA list entry, the batch lab report and how easy it is to stay near 10mg a day.
iCBD isn’t a treatment for any condition; if something is affecting your daily life, see your GP. For a wider view, see choosing a CBD oil in the UK, and our fact guides to Blessed CBD, CBD Brothers and Supreme CBD.
