The best value CBD oil in the UK is the one with the lowest cost per 10mg of CBD, not the cheapest bottle. Divide the price by the total mg of CBD and multiply by 10. In Evopure’s range, the lowest cost per 10mg is Evolabs 30ml CBD Oil 2,000mg, where about 0.15ml gives 10mg of CBD.

How do you work out the cost per 10mg of CBD?
Divide the bottle price by the total mg of CBD in the bottle, then multiply by 10. A 1,000mg bottle holds 100 lots of 10mg, so its cost per 10mg is the price divided by 100. We use 10mg because it is the FSA’s daily figure for healthy adults.
Value check in five steps
- Find the total CBD in mg on the label. Ignore “mg of hemp oil” or “hemp extract”: only mg of CBD counts.
- Work out the cost per 10mg: price ÷ total mg × 10.
- Search the FSA public list for that exact product and strength. Validated or Awaiting evidence can stay on sale in England and Wales; Removed or not listed must be withdrawn.

Our 10ml oils (Broad Spectrum, Flow, Sleep and Relief) are broad spectrum with 0% THC. Evolabs 30ml oils are high-quality, tested CBD in coconut MCT oil, in Orange, Cherry, Natural and Mint + D3. All are on the FSA public list (validated applications RP438, RP821 and RP47) and third-party lab tested, with batch reports on request from our lab testing page. Made in the UK, vegan.
The FSA advises healthy adults to take no more than 10mg of CBD a day: about 0.2ml of the 500mg (0.1ml of the 1,000mg) gives 10mg. On Evolabs 30ml, about 0.6ml, 0.3ml or 0.15ml gives 10mg on the 500mg, 1,000mg and 2,000mg.
The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues. At Evopure we think it is a very cautious figure, and many adults use more. If you go above it, increase slowly, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take any medication.

We checked seven widely sold UK CBD oils on their brands’ own websites on 6 November 2026 and worked out the cost per 10mg in the same way. Large, high-strength 30ml bottles came out cheapest. Evopure isn’t connected with these brands.

On the FSA public list (downloaded 6 November 2026), we matched Validated entries by name and strength for six of the seven oils. We couldn’t find Cannaray’s 3,000mg oil by name, though its 500mg and 1,500mg oils are listed. Orange County CBD publishes lab reports for its 500mg to 1,500mg flavoured oils; we didn’t find one listed for the 6,000mg. Check the exact product yourself before you buy. Is the cheapest CBD oil per mg always the best value?
Not always. Cost per 10mg only counts if the CBD on the label is in the bottle, the product can legally be sold and you can measure the amount you want.
- Measuring small amounts. The stronger the oil, the less you need. On a 6,000mg 30ml oil or our 2,000mg 10ml, 10mg is about 0.05ml, roughly one drop, so it is easy to take more than you meant. Near 10mg a day, a 30ml bottle at 1,000mg or 2,000mg is easier to measure.
- THC. Full spectrum and whole plant oils can contain THC, a controlled drug, and may show up on a drug test. See full spectrum vs broad spectrum.
- The FSA list and lab reports. A low price is no saving if the product isn’t on the list or has no batch report. Our guide to the FSA’s CBD novel food process explains the list.
- How long a bottle lasts. At 10mg a day, a 1,000mg bottle lasts 100 days and a 2,000mg bottle 200 days, so a bigger outlay can still be the cheaper choice.
