Myvitamins sells six magnesium products in the UK. Its Magnesium Bisglycinate Tablets give 112.5mg of elemental magnesium from one tablet, the raspberry gummies 150mg from magnesium citrate, and the Zinc and Magnesium Capsules 150mg with 10mg of zinc. The plain Magnesium Tablets use magnesium oxide (checked November 2026).
Facts below come from the Myvitamins website, read on 1 November 2026. Evopure isn’t connected with Myvitamins, and we don’t rate or review other brands.
What magnesium does Myvitamins sell?
The magnesium page on myvitamins.com listed these six products. Figures are per daily serving, as each label states:
| Product | Magnesium a day | Form | Serving |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magnesium Bisglycinate Tablets | 112.5mg | Bisglycinate | 1 tablet |
| Magnesium Gummies | 150mg | Citrate | 1 gummy |
| Magnesium Tablets | 300mg | Oxide | 3 tablets |
| Zinc and Magnesium Capsules | 150mg | Citrate, oxide | 1 capsule |
| ZMA Capsules | 150mg | Citrate salts, oxide | 1 capsule |
| Calcium and Magnesium Tablets | 375mg | Citrate, oxide | 3 tablets |
All six are labelled suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and made in a facility that also handles milk (except the gummies, whose page doesn’t say). Myvitamins is the vitamins brand of THG Nutrition Limited, the same company behind Myprotein’s magnesium.

View productMyvitamins magnesium bisglycinate: the label maths
If you searched for Myvitamins magnesium glycinate, this is the product. Glycinate and bisglycinate are two names for magnesium bound to glycine; “bis” means two glycine molecules per magnesium. The label names the ingredient as CoreChelate magnesium bisglycinate.
- Compound vs magnesium: each tablet holds 1,000mg of magnesium bisglycinate, of which 112.5mg is magnesium. The front of the page rounds this to 113mg.
- Against UK needs: the NHS says adults need 300mg (men) or 270mg (women) a day, mostly from food. One tablet is about 38% of the men’s figure and 42% of the women’s (our sums), or 30% of the 375mg reference value on UK labels.
- Per pack: 90 tablets at one a day is 90 days.
- Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and a HPMC coating.
The page says it’s not recommended for children, or in pregnancy or breastfeeding, and to consult a doctor if you take medication. For more on the form, read our guide to magnesium glycinate; for a capsule mixing glycinate with malate and citrate, see Nutrition Geeks Magnesium Glycinate 3-in-1. Use how much magnesium per day as your yardstick.
Myvitamins magnesium gummies and tablets
Magnesium Gummies are raspberry flavoured, one a day, 30 per pack. Each gives 150mg of magnesium (40% of the reference value) and 0.7mg of vitamin B6. The magnesium comes from magnesium citrate. Sucrose, glucose syrup and caster sugar follow it in the ingredients list, so these are sugared gummies. More on the format in our Novomins gummies breakdown.
Magnesium Tablets give 300mg a day from three tablets (100mg each), 80% of the reference value. The only magnesium source listed is magnesium oxide. Oxide packs a lot of magnesium into a small tablet but is one of the less well absorbed forms in studies; see magnesium oxide.
Calcium and Magnesium Tablets give 375mg of magnesium and 800mg of calcium from three tablets, each 100% of its reference value. The magnesium is from citrate and oxide.
Myvitamins zinc and magnesium (and ZMA)
Two products pair magnesium with zinc. Both are one capsule a day, and both pages suggest taking it on an empty stomach 30 to 60 minutes before bed.
- Zinc and Magnesium Capsules: 150mg magnesium (citrate and oxide), 10mg zinc, 3.7mg vitamin B6 and 0.2mg copper. 90 capsules.
- ZMA Capsules: 150mg magnesium, 10mg zinc and 3.5mg vitamin B6, from the branded ZMA blend (magnesium citrate salts and oxide, zinc aspartate and zinc monomethionine). The page says to avoid taking it with dairy or other calcium foods or supplements.
Check the extras if you take other supplements. The NHS says don’t take more than 25mg of zinc or 10mg of vitamin B6 a day from supplements unless a doctor advises it. Both capsules are well under those levels on their own, but a multivitamin on top adds up. More in our guides to zinc, vitamin B6 and magnesium for men.
Where Evopure fits
Evopure isn’t connected with Myvitamins. If you’re comparing options, ours takes a different approach, not a like-for-like swap:
- Magnesium Glycinate Sleep Complex: a berry-flavoured drink powder with magnesium bisglycinate and citrate (148mg of magnesium per serving), glycine, L-theanine, chamomile, passionflower, hops and oat straw. Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal psychological function.
- Reishi Mushroom Adaptogenic Complex: a reishi hot chocolate with cocoa and maca. It contains a little natural caffeine.
- Sleep CBD Oil: broad spectrum CBD with 0% THC, plus passion flower, for an evening routine.
The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues. At Evopure we think it is a very cautious figure, and many adults use more. If you go above it, increase slowly, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take any medication.
All three are vegan, made in the UK and for adults (18+) only. To compare other options, see our UK magnesium supplement guide.
Taking two products, and who should check first
Myvitamins’ own advice is not to double up on magnesium across products. The NHS says more than 400mg of magnesium for a short time can cause diarrhoea. The Calcium and Magnesium Tablets (375mg) plus the gummies (150mg) would give 525mg, so add up every product you take, including multivitamins. More in magnesium side effects and the best time to take magnesium.
iAsk your GP or pharmacist before taking any magnesium if you have kidney disease, or take antibiotics, alendronic acid, levothyroxine or other regular medicines. We don’t recommend our products during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Our products are for adults (18+) only.
Buying Myvitamins and where to read reviews
- Where: myvitamins.com and its app. Myvitamins was also among the brands Tesco sold itself when we checked its shelf for Tesco magnesium, and you’ll find more high street options at Holland and Barrett.
- Reviews: each product page has customer reviews, and the brand has a Trustpilot page. We don’t quote reviews or give scores.
- The company: the site footer names THG Nutrition Limited, trading as MyVitamins.com. Companies House lists THG Nutrition Limited (company 13400484) as active, registered in Altrincham.
- ASA: we found no ASA ruling under the Myvitamins name on asa.org.uk in November 2026; the THG Nutrition rulings we found (2023) were about Myprotein promotions.
For what each magnesium form is, see types of magnesium.
Another bisglycinate gummy, sold from the US, is covered in SPNutrition magnesium bisglycinate gummies.
For a UK-made triple magnesium capsule with zinc and D3, see Bettervits magnesium.
