NEOM scent ranges and what’s in them

NEOM sorts its products into four “Scent to” ranges, each led by one essential oil blend used across its candles, oils, mists and bath and body products.

For people who don’t like lavender, NEOM sells Bedtime Hero, a sleep-range blend led by chamomile, ylang ylang and cedarwood. Its Christmas 2026 limited editions are Christmas Wish (mandarin, cinnamon and tonka bean), Perfect Peace, Sparkling Joy and Cosy Nights.

NEOM says its fragrances have been 100% natural as defined by ISO 9235 (the standard for natural aromatic raw materials) from day one, and that its candles are hand-finished with 100% naturally derived wax.

NEOM gift sets: what’s inside

Most NEOM gift sets are smaller sizes from one range, so choose by the scent they’d enjoy. On neomwellbeing.com in November 2026:

NEOM pillow mist (Perfect Night’s Sleep Mist)

What most people call the NEOM pillow mist or sleep spray is sold as the Perfect Night’s Sleep Mist, in 30ml and 100ml bottles.

• What’s in it: the ingredients list starts with alcohol denat., isoamyl laurate, parfum and water, followed by lavender oil, bitter orange peel, geranium, patchouli, cedarwood, bergamot, lemon and jasmine, plus fragrance components such as linalool, limonene and coumarin. Allergens may vary, so NEOM says to check the pack.
• How NEOM says to use it: spritz it on your body and the area above your pillow, breathe in through your nose for 7 seconds and out slowly through your mouth for 11, and use it nightly. It suggests lighting the matching candle beforehand.
• NEOM’s warnings: flammable; don’t spray towards your eyes or face; stop if you get redness or itching; keep out of reach of children.

Does it work? NEOM cites neuroscience research it commissioned on its four signature blends; we couldn’t find it in a peer-reviewed journal. Independent research on lavender scent is small: a 2026 review of 11 trials (628 adults) found better self-rated sleep quality but called for better studies. Wellbeing Pod, Pod Luxe or Pod Mini+?

The Wellbeing Pod is NEOM’s electric essential oil diffuser, launched in 2018. There are three sizes:

How to use and care for it (per NEOM): fill the tank with tap water without going over the maximum line, add your drops and choose a time, light and mode setting. The Pod and Pod Luxe have a breathing mode where the light brightens for 7 seconds and dims for 11. Unplug it before filling or cleaning, clean the tank every three days, and never leave water in it when it’s not in use. To change scent, wipe the tank out with a dry, clean cloth.

NEOM says a 10ml blend gives up to 30 uses. A plain Pod comes without oil, so a Starter Pack suits a gift. For a wind-down that doesn’t depend on any one product, see our bedtime routine for adults.

NEOM candles: sizes and care

NEOM candles come as a travel candle (75g), a 1 wick (185g) and a 3 wick (420g). Its own care guide says:

• On the first burn, let it burn for 2 to 4 hours or until the wax pool is even, so it doesn’t tunnel.
• Keep it away from draughts and fans, and trim the wick to 5mm once the wax has set.
• Use a snuffer rather than blowing it out, and keep the lid on when it’s not lit.

London Fire Brigade advises stable, heat-resistant holders, keeping candles away from curtains and furniture, and out of reach of children and pets. For an older relative, it points out that flameless LED candles are the safer option; pair one with a NEOM reed diffuser or Pod instead.

Building a gift around NEOM

A NEOM candle or mist makes a natural centrepiece for a bedtime or self-care box. These Evopure products sit alongside it:

• Magnesium Glycinate Sleep Complex: a berry drink powder with magnesium bisglycinate and citrate (148mg of magnesium per serving), glycine, L-theanine, chamomile, passionflower, hops and oat straw. Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

iGiving CBD? Make sure it’s for an adult, and check gently that they’re not pregnant, breastfeeding or on medication. If they take any regular medicines, they should check with a GP or pharmacist first.

The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues. Pets, pregnancy and safety

• Cats and dogs: we didn’t find pet guidance on NEOM’s product pages, so ask your vet. Cats Protection lists lavender, citrus and ylang ylang among essential oils that are toxic to cats, and advises keeping cats out of rooms with diffusers and airing the room before letting them back in.
• Pregnancy, breastfeeding or medication: NEOM’s own safety wording says to seek advice from a healthcare professional before introducing new products. Ask your midwife or GP.
• Children: NEOM says to keep the mist out of reach of children, and that children must not play with the Pod.
