What’s in SPNutrition magnesium gummies?

The supplement facts panel on the product page gives these figures for one serving of two gummies:

The other ingredients are water, pectin, lemon juice powder, sea salt, raspberry fruit powder, carnauba wax and stevia. The brand describes the gummies as sugar-free, vegan (pectin rather than gelatine), non-GMO, gluten-free and dairy-free. For another gummy label worked through, see Novomins magnesium gummies.

SPNutrition’s shop also lists a magnesium lotion with arnica, probiotic gummies and D3 + K2 gummies. The D3 + K2 page gives 5,000 IU (125 micrograms) of vitamin D3 a gummy; the NHS says adults shouldn’t take more than 100 micrograms a day.

The label maths: is it really 400mg of magnesium?

Magnesium bisglycinate is magnesium bound to two glycine molecules, so most of its weight is glycine. Magnesium makes up about 14% of the pure compound, and often 11 to 14% of supplement-grade ingredients. Myvitamins’ bisglycinate tablets, for example, get 112.5mg of magnesium from 1,000mg of bisglycinate.

• If 400mg is the bisglycinate: a serving would give roughly 45 to 56mg of magnesium (our sums), about 15 to 21% of the 300mg (men) or 270mg (women) the NHS says adults need.
• If 400mg is the magnesium: two gummies would need roughly 2,800 to 3,600mg of bisglycinate, and the serving alone would reach the NHS figure of 400mg a day from supplements.
• The 95%: 400mg is 95% of the US daily value of 420mg, so the panel’s percentage treats 400mg as magnesium. UK labels show a %NRV based on 375mg instead.

Who should check first

The NHS says taking more than 400mg of magnesium for a short time can cause diarrhoea, so add up every product you take, including multivitamins. Whatever a label says, ask your GP or pharmacist before taking magnesium if you have kidney disease or take antibiotics, alendronic acid, levothyroxine or other regular medicines. • Where: spnutrition-us.com. Its shipping policy lists the UK, with delivery in 3 to 7 working days, and its About page says it ships from local warehouses in each country it serves. The brand says the gummies are only available on its own site and warns about listings on Amazon and eBay.
• Bundles and returns: one, two or three bags, or a 30-day subscription. The refund policy gives 30, 60 or 90 days to ask for a return, depending on the bundle.
• Reviews: the product page shows customer reviews, and there is a Trustpilot page under spnutrition-us.com. We don’t quote reviews or give scores.
• The company: the site says it is owned and operated by Ecom Victory LLC, registered in Newark, Delaware, USA.
• ASA: we found no ASA ruling under SPNutrition, SP Nutrition or Ecom Victory on asa.org.uk in November 2026.
