A self-care hamper, or pamper hamper, is a basket of 5 to 8 small comforts built around one theme: something warm to sip, something for the bath or body, something to read, something for sleep, a treat and a handwritten note. You can make a thoughtful Christmas one for under £25. Ideas checked October 2026.

Below: a step-by-step Christmas pamper hamper, themed ideas (pamper, sleep, cosy, vegan and for him), budget tiers and our centrepiece picks.

Which Evopure product makes the hamper?

A hamper looks generous when one item is the star. If you’d like one of ours as the centrepiece, choose by theme (checked against our product pages, October 2026).

Product Format Hamper theme Good to know
Reishi Mushroom Adaptogenic Complex Hot chocolate powder Cosy night in, vegan Cacao, reishi extract, maca, coconut milk powder. Contains a little natural caffeine
Magnesium Glycinate Sleep Complex Berry drink powder Sleep, evening wind-down 148mg magnesium a serving. Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue
CBD Balm, Muscle and Joint Support Balm, 600mg CBD a tin Pamper night, for him A cosmetic massage balm, not a supplement. Cooling, with peppermint, eucalyptus and juniper
Sleep CBD Oil with Passion Flower Oil, 500mg or 1,000mg Sleep, for an adult who already uses CBD About 4 drops (500mg) or 2 drops (1,000mg) for 10mg

Hamper value: put two or more products together on our bundle builder and the saving grows as you add: 5% off two items, 10% off three and 20% off four or more (checked October 2026). The reishi cacao, Magnesium Sleep Complex and balm together make a three-item cosy night in.

The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues. At Evopure we think it is a very cautious figure, and many adults use more. If you go above it, increase slowly, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take any medication.

What you get with Evopure:

  • Our CBD products: every batch third-party tested at ISO 17025 labs; request a batch report on our lab testing page.
  • Made in the UK, vegan and alcohol-free, so all four suit a vegan hamper.
  • Our CBD is broad spectrum and THC free, and on the FSA public list, linked to validated applications.
  • Tracked Royal Mail delivery across the UK, dispatched the same day if you order before 3pm Monday to Thursday (delivery details). Unopened, unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery (returns policy).

They are food supplements and cosmetics, not medicines. Ready to build it? Start with the reishi cacao for a cosy hamper, the Magnesium Sleep Complex for a sleep hamper, or the CBD Balm for a pamper night.

How to make a Christmas pamper hamper, step by step

Ready-made hampers follow the same pattern. Copy it, then swap in things they love.

  1. Pick one theme and a budget. Pamper, sleep, cosy night in, vegan or for him (ideas below). A theme makes it look planned.
  2. Choose a container worth keeping. A wicker hamper basket, a wooden crate, a sturdy Christmas gift box, a canvas tote, or a big mug for a mini version. A craft-shop hamper kit (basket, shred and cellophane) saves time. Skip anything that ends up in the bin.
  3. Fill the base. Crinkle paper shred, scrunched tissue or a folded tea towel or scarf, so items sit high and don’t rattle.
  4. Choose 5 to 8 items. One centrepiece, then something warm to sip, something for the bath or body (bath salts, hand cream, a face mask), something to read or do (a novel, a puzzle book or a journal; our list of 50 self-care ideas has more to print and tuck in), something for sleep (an eye mask or bed socks) and one thing they’ll finish, such as chocolate.
  5. Arrange tallest at the back, smallest at the front, with labels facing out. Tuck small items into the gaps so nothing slides.
  6. Wrap and finish. Clear cellophane gathered with ribbon is the classic look. For plastic-free, wrap the basket in fabric, or use kraft paper, twine and a sprig of holly or a cinnamon stick.
  7. Add a handwritten note. The part people keep. Say why you made it, and offer something only you can give: a walk, a phone call or a cooked meal.

One luxurious touch, such as a candle or a soft throw, is what makes a hamper feel generous.

Self-care and pamper hamper ideas by theme

These six themes cover most people on your list.

A pamper hamper for her

Think “an evening that’s all hers”: a face mask, hand cream, bath salts, a candle, a paperback and a herbal tea or hot chocolate. Our Epsom salt bath guide has how much to use, and a magnesium body butter is a nice extra. For a mum-to-be or new mum, choose a soft robe, one-handed snacks and an offer of babysitting instead of supplements. More ideas in our wellness gifts guide.

A self-care hamper for him

Many men prefer useful to fluffy: a muscle balm for after the gym, a decent shower gel, warm socks, a heavy mug with hot chocolate or coffee, a puzzle book and a head torch for winter walks. See our wellness gifts for men for more.

A sleep hamper for someone who can’t sleep

The NHS suggests relaxing for at least an hour before bed, for example with a bath or a book, so pack bath salts, a paperback, a contoured eye mask, foam earplugs, bed socks and a caffeine-free bedtime drink such as chamomile tea or our Magnesium Sleep Complex. Keep the reishi hot chocolate for earlier in the evening. For an adult who already uses CBD, our Sleep CBD Oil, broad spectrum CBD with passion flower extract and a night-time terpene blend, fits the theme. A weighted blanket makes it a bigger gift. See magnesium for sleep and our sleep gifts list.

A cosy hot chocolate hamper

For dark December evenings: a hot chocolate kit (good cacao, a cinnamon stick and a big mug), a hot water bottle, thick socks, a throw, a candle and a film or book. Copy a recipe from healthy hot chocolate onto a card, or build a whole hot chocolate hamper with hot chocolate gifts. For more on the hygge feel, or to split it into 24 parcels, see our wellness advent calendar.

A vegan Christmas hamper

Go plant-based throughout: a dairy-free hot chocolate, dark chocolate, a vegan candle, a plant-based body balm and a cookbook. Then check every label:

  • Food and drink: look for milk, whey, casein, egg, honey and gelatine (most marshmallows contain it). UK labels must emphasise allergens such as milk in the ingredients list, often in bold. Our dairy-free hot chocolate guide lists what to check on a powder.
  • Body and bath: beeswax, lanolin and honey are common in balms, lip care and soaps.
  • Vegan isn’t free-from: the FSA says someone with a milk or egg allergy should never assume a vegan product is safe to eat.

Every Evopure product is vegan and alcohol-free; see is CBD oil vegan? for how to check other brands.

A self-care hamper for someone who’s stressed

A hamper says “I’ve noticed, and you’re allowed to stop for an evening”. Keep everything effortless: herbal tea, a soft throw, a candle, a puzzle book and a ready-made treat, nothing that becomes another job. The NHS suggests listing three things you’re thankful for each day, so a small notebook fits well, as does a card with a breathing exercise from how to relieve stress. If Christmas itself is the pressure, see Christmas stress, and for more calming ideas, gifts for anxiety.

If they’re going through a really hard time, your note offering to talk matters most. Anyone who is struggling can call Samaritans free on 116 123, day or night.

DIY or ready-made self-care hamper?

A DIY hamper usually costs less for the same contents and feels more personal. A ready-made one saves time but often includes filler. A middle way: buy a few products you trust, then add personal touches and the note. Shopping over Black Friday weekend (27 to 30 November)? See Black Friday at Evopure.

Before you add supplements or CBD to a hamper

  • Adults only. All our products are for adults (18+).
  • Pregnancy. We don’t recommend our products during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so leave them out of a pregnancy or new-baby hamper.
  • Medication. For CBD, it’s worth a quick, friendly check that they’re not pregnant, breastfeeding or on regular medication. CBD can interact with some medicines; see CBD and medication.
  • CBD for people who already use it. It’s a personal choice, so it suits someone with CBD in their routine better than a surprise.
  • Caffeine. Our reishi cacao contains a little natural caffeine from the cacao.

How to post a hamper and order in time for Christmas

  • Seal anything liquid in a zip bag and tape the lids. Wrap glass in bubble wrap.
  • Label homemade food with the ingredients and any allergens, such as milk or nuts.
  • Check posting rules. Perfume, aerosols and nail varnish are restricted by many carriers, so check the prohibited items list first.
  • Post it in a box. Put the basket inside a padded cardboard box.
  • Send early. Check retailers’ last order dates and your carrier’s last posting dates. For our Christmas order dates, check our delivery page. Ordering straight to them is often easier: at our checkout, tick “deliver to a different address”.

An unperfumed hand cream is a kind winter extra: see dry skin.
