Orange County CBD is a UK CBD brand, based in Liverpool, that sells full spectrum and broad spectrum CBD oils from 500mg to 25,000mg, plus gummies, balms and vapes. When we checked in October 2026, its broad spectrum oils and gummies had entries marked “Validated” on the FSA public list, under application RP427.

Who are Orange County CBD?
Despite the Californian name, Orange County CBD is a UK company. Its website gives a Liverpool address and says the brand began in 2019 after its two founders visited California. It says it sources its CBD from certified farms in the United States.
Its UK shop is orangecounty-cbd.com; similar-named discount code sites aren’t the brand.
What does Orange County CBD sell?
Here is the range on Orange County CBD’s UK website on 23 October 2026, with the FSA public list status we found for each group:

The gummies come as bears, worms, strawberries, cherries, peach rings, cubes and bottles. The site also sells a few non-CBD products, such as caffeine gummies and shilajit. We didn’t see CBD capsules for sale when we checked.

Orange County CBD oil strengths and drops
The number on the bottle is the total CBD, not the amount per drop, so check the bottle size too. Orange County CBD’s own pages give a “per pipette” and “per drop” figure: for example, its 1,000mg oil in 30ml lists 33mg per pipette and 1.65mg per drop, while its 1,000mg oil in 10ml lists 100mg per pipette and 5mg per drop.

We’ve used 20 drops per ml, which matches the brand’s own figures; real drops vary a little. A full pipette of the stronger oils holds many times the FSA’s 10mg a day figure, so count drops.

Full spectrum, broad spectrum and THC
Orange County CBD sells both types of oil, which matters if THC is a concern:
- Unflavoured oils are full spectrum. The site says they contain “only trace amounts of THC”. Ingredients are listed as full spectrum hemp-derived CBD, MCT oil and terpenes.
- Flavoured oils are broad spectrum. The mint, cherry and apple oils are described as “0% THC”, with a footnote saying “No detectable traces to the 6th decimal”. Ingredients are listed as broad spectrum CBD, MCT oil and natural flavourings.
Orange County CBD’s own FAQ says full spectrum products could show up on a workplace drug test if used regularly. Orange County CBD gummies: mg per gummy
Orange County CBD’s gummies are broad spectrum, and the pages we checked list pectin rather than gelatine. The strength per gummy depends on the tub, so check that figure rather than the total:
- Small tubs of gummy bears: 25 gummies, so 16mg each in the 400mg tub, 32mg in the 800mg tub and 48mg in the 1,200mg tub.
- Grab bags: 200mg in a bag of 8 worms, which is 25mg per worm.
- Large tubs: the 1,600mg tub of strawberries holds 70 gummies, about 23mg each. The 4,800mg tubs are much stronger: 69mg per strawberry on the FSA list entry.
Even the lowest-strength gummy we found, at 16mg, is above the FSA’s 10mg a day figure; oils let you measure smaller amounts. Our guide to CBD oil vs gummies compares the two formats.
Is Orange County CBD legal in the UK?
CBD food products (oils, gummies, capsules and drinks) sold in England and Wales need to appear on the FSA’s public list, which covers products with a credible application for authorisation. The FSA has told local authorities that products marked “Validated” or “Awaiting evidence” may stay on the market while applications are assessed, and that products missing from the list or marked “Removed” must be withdrawn.
When we downloaded the list on 23 October 2026, it had 134 entries marked “Validated” with Orange County CBD in the product name, all linked to application RP427. They include the broad spectrum flavoured oils (mint, cherry and apple) and the gummy ranges.
For its unflavoured full spectrum oils, Orange County CBD’s product pages say: “Our full-spectrum oils are cold-pressed and FSA approval is not required.” If being on the list matters to you, search it for the exact product name and strength, or ask the brand.
What about the FSA’s September 2026 decision? RP427 is one of the first three applications the FSA board recommended ministers authorise, all for high-purity CBD (at least 98% pure) for adults at up to 10mg a day. The 10mg advice. In October 2023 the FSA’s advisers set a provisional acceptable daily intake of 10mg of CBD a day for a healthy 70kg adult. The FSA doesn’t recommend CBD for under-18s, anyone pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive, or people taking any medication, unless under medical direction. How to take Orange County CBD oil
The product pages we checked had no directions for use; the brand’s FAQ advises starting low and increasing gradually. For any CBD oil:
- Shake the bottle.
- Work out your drops from the mg per drop (see the table above), rather than using a full pipette.
- Place the drops under your tongue, hold for about a minute, then swallow.
- Take it with or after food, at about the same time each day.
- Keep a note of how much you take, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take any medication.

Orange County CBD for sleep or anxiety?
Whatever the brand, here is where things stand:
- CBD isn’t a treatment. There are no authorised health claims for CBD in the UK, and Orange County CBD’s own product pages say its products “are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.”
- The research is still early. Most human studies on CBD and sleep or anxiety are small or short, with mixed results. Our guide to CBD and anxiety goes through the trials honestly.

The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues.
