Hempine is a UK CBD brand, a trading name of Raised Spirit Ltd, that sells full spectrum CBD as a powder-like product you add to meals (about 11mg per teaspoon) and as oil drops (125mg or 1,500mg per 30ml). When we checked in November 2026, all eight of its entries on the FSA public list were “Validated”.

Below: the range, CBD per teaspoon and per pipette, THC, the FSA list and who is behind it. Evopure isn’t connected with Hempine; facts come from hempine.co.uk and official sources, checked 4 November 2026.

What does Hempine sell?

Hempine’s shop has two formats. Its own figures:

Hempine product Size CBD (Hempine’s figures)
Hempine tub 500g or 1kg About 2,150mg or 4,300mg
Eco-Pouch 1.5kg About 6,450mg
Smooth pouch (finer texture) 150g or 300g About 650mg or 1,300mg
CBD Oil Drops 30ml 125mg
Super Strength CBD Oil Drops 30ml 1,500mg

Hempine describes its tubs and pouches as “powder-like” and suggests adding them to meals, split between morning and evening. It says its CBD is sourced from the flowers of hemp plants, made with organic ingredients, with coconut oil as the carrier. The drops are CBD mixed with hemp oil and can be taken directly or added to food. Hempine also offers a subscription and trade orders.

CBD Oil Broad Spectrum

If you’d rather measure CBD as drops, Evopure’s Broad Spectrum CBD Oil 500mg is broad spectrum CBD in coconut MCT oil, made in the UK from US-grown hemp: 17.5mg per half pipette (0.35ml), and 0.2ml gives 10mg.

How much CBD is in a teaspoon of Hempine?

About 11mg, on Hempine’s figures: a 500g tub holds roughly 200 teaspoons and about 2,150mg of CBD. Here is how each format compares with the FSA’s advice of no more than 10mg a day for healthy adults:

Hempine product CBD per serving Against 10mg a day
Tub or pouch About 11mg a teaspoon Just over 10mg
CBD Oil Drops 125mg 2.5mg a half pipette 4 half pipettes
Super Strength 1,500mg 30mg a half pipette Three times 10mg; about 0.2ml gives 10mg

The FSA figure is precautionary advice, not a legal limit (more on that below). See how much CBD to take, CBD oil strengths explained and cooking with CBD oil.

Is Hempine full spectrum? Does it contain THC?

Hempine says its products are full spectrum, that batches contain “only trace amounts of THC” and that they are third-party lab tested. We didn’t find a THC figure or batch certificates on its site, so ask Hempine for the certificate for your batch if you face workplace or sports drug testing.

In the UK a CBD product can contain no more than 1mg of THC, or any other controlled cannabinoid, per container. Full spectrum products keep more of the hemp plant’s compounds, which can include traces of THC; broad spectrum products are made to remove it. See full spectrum vs broad spectrum, CBD and drug tests, how to read CBD lab reports and is CBD legal in the UK?

Is Hempine on the FSA list?

Yes. We downloaded the FSA’s full public list on 4 November 2026 and found eight Hempine entries, listed under Raised Spirit, all “Validated” under application RP-438:

  • Hempine Drops: 30ml (125mg) and 60ml (250mg).
  • Hempine Super-Strength Drops: 30ml (1,500mg) and a 60ml entry.
  • Hempine CBD: 500g (2,150mg) and 1kg (4,300mg).
  • Hempine CBD Smooth: 150g (650mg) and 300g (1,300mg).

Our name search didn’t find the 1.5kg Eco-Pouch. “Validated” means a product can stay on sale while its application is assessed; it isn’t an authorisation. RP-438 wasn’t one of the three applications the FSA recommended to ministers in September 2026. See the FSA’s first CBD approvals.

Who is behind Hempine?

  • A registered UK company. Hempine’s site says it is “a trading name of Raised Spirit Ltd”. Companies House lists Raised Spirit Ltd (company 11067101), incorporated on 16 November 2017 and active, with its registered office in Barnstaple, Devon.
  • The founder’s story: Hempine says it was started in Oxfordshire in 2018 by its founder, Jo, then a yard manager, whose family later moved to Devon to set up an off-grid hemp farm. Raised Spirit also sells CBD oil drops, CBD coconut oil infusions and skincare.
  • Contact details are published: an email address and a UK phone number.
  • No ASA rulings found. We searched the Advertising Standards Authority’s rulings for “Hempine” and “Raised Spirit” on 4 November 2026 and found none.

Pets and horses: Hempine’s website images also refer to CBD for animals, pets, horses and dogs. In the UK, the Veterinary Medicines Directorate treats CBD products for animals as veterinary medicines, so speak to your vet before giving any CBD to an animal. See CBD oil for dogs.

Where Evopure fits

Evopure is a separate UK company and isn’t connected with Hempine. We don’t sell powders. If you want CBD you take by mouth, these are our closest options:

All our CBD products are 0% THC and on the FSA public list, linked to validated applications RP438, RP821 and RP47. They’re vegan, made in the UK from US-grown hemp and tested by ISO 17025 accredited labs; see our lab testing page. For adults (18+) only. We don’t recommend our products during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues. At Evopure we think it is a very cautious figure, and many adults use more. If you go above it, increase slowly, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take any medication.

Hempine reviews: what to check

We haven’t tested Hempine’s products and don’t rate other brands. Independent reviews can be read on review sites; read recent and middling ones too. Posting or commissioning fake reviews is banned in the UK under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. More useful checks: the exact product on the FSA list, a batch lab report showing the THC result, the CBD per serving against 10mg a day, and claims that promise nothing for any condition. CBD isn’t a treatment for any condition; if something is affecting your daily life, see your GP.
