Wild Nutrition’s main ashwagandha is KSM-66 Ashwagandha Plus. When we checked wildnutrition.com in October 2026, two capsules gave 600mg of KSM-66 root extract plus 57mg of Food-Grown magnesium (15% NRV). It also sells KSM-66 gummies at 100mg each, and a Night Time Duo that pairs the capsules with its magnesium.

These are facts from Wild Nutrition’s own pages and official UK sources, not a review. Evopure isn’t connected with Wild Nutrition.

What’s in Wild Nutrition ashwagandha?

What the product pages showed on 26 October 2026:

On the label Ashwagandha Plus Gummies
Ashwagandha 600mg KSM-66 root extract per 2 capsules 100mg KSM-66 root extract per gummy
Added 57mg magnesium (15% NRV) None; 90% fruit
Daily intake 2 capsules, with or without food Adults up to 6 (600mg)
Pack 60 capsules, 30 days 60 gummies, 30 days
Suitable for Vegetarians (site filters also list kosher, halal) Vegans; no refined sugars

Capsule ingredients: Withania somnifera (ashwagandha) root extract (KSM-66), nutrient-enhanced Lactobacillus bulgaricus (providing magnesium), an HPMC vegetable capsule shell and heat-treated brown rice powder. It comes in a glass jar or refill pouch.

The magnesium brings the authorised claims on the label, such as contributing to normal psychological function and a reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Ashwagandha itself has no authorised health claim in the UK.

Is it KSM-66, root only and organic?

KSM-66: yes, both products name it. Root or leaf: root only. Wild Nutrition describes a full-spectrum root extract grown in Rajasthan, India. Organic: the gummies FAQ says its KSM-66 ashwagandha is certified organic; the capsule page doesn’t state organic status. Withanolides: neither page gives a withanolide figure.

Wild Nutrition magnesium and ashwagandha: the Night Time Duo

The Night Time Duo is two jars: Food-Grown Magnesium (80mg per 2 capsules) and KSM-66 Ashwagandha Plus (57mg magnesium and 600mg ashwagandha per 2 capsules). Taking both as directed is 4 capsules and 137mg of magnesium a day (our sum), well under the NHS guide that 400mg or less a day from supplements is unlikely to cause harm.

Wild Nutrition says its ashwagandha products can be taken together. Our Wild Nutrition magnesium guide covers the magnesium jar, and ashwagandha vs magnesium explains how the two differ.

Where Evopure fits

If you’re looking at ashwagandha, here is what we make:

  • Flow CBD Oil: broad spectrum CBD with ashwagandha and maca in MCT oil, which is unusual in UK CBD. More in CBD and ashwagandha.
  • Magnesium Glycinate Sleep Complex: a berry drink powder with magnesium bisglycinate and citrate (148mg of magnesium per serving), glycine, L-theanine, chamomile, passionflower, hops and oat straw. Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Reishi Mushroom Adaptogenic Complex: a reishi hot chocolate with reishi mushroom extract, organic cacao and maca. It contains a little natural caffeine.

The FSA’s 10mg a day figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit, set while longer-term safety research continues. At Evopure we think it is a very cautious figure, and many adults use more. If you go above it, increase slowly, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take any medication.

Our products are for adults (18+) only. We don’t recommend our products during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to take it, and what the research says

The label says 2 capsules a day, with or without food. Morning or evening both work, and Wild Nutrition advises taking supplements at least 2 hours after any medication. See when to take ashwagandha and how much ashwagandha per day.

600mg a day of root extract matches what the trials used, and the evidence suggests ashwagandha may help a little with stress:

  • A 60-day trial in 64 adults with chronic stress used 300mg of a full-spectrum root extract twice a day.
  • A 2022 meta-analysis of 12 trials (1,002 people) found stress results clustered at 300 to 600mg a day, and rated the certainty of the evidence as low.

Is it safe? The UK position

Ashwagandha is legal as a food supplement in the UK in October 2026, but under review. The FSA published a summary of its call for evidence in June 2026, and the Committee on Toxicity discussed a third draft safety statement in September 2026. Meanwhile the FSA has said it would advise people with liver conditions and pregnant women to avoid ashwagandha supplements. Our UK safety review has the detail.

The capsule label says it is not suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and to see your doctor first if you have a medical condition (including liver or thyroid), take medication or are under medical supervision. It adds that ashwagandha can cause liver problems in very rare cases. In one case series, five people developed jaundice 2 to 12 weeks after starting it: stop and see a doctor if your skin or eyes turn yellow. See ashwagandha side effects and overactive thyroid symptoms.

The gummies label includes directions for children from 5. For a child, ask your GP or pharmacist first.
